H. Agape Love Inventory
Evaluate yourself on a scale of 0-5, with 0 being not at all like me, 5 being like me most of the time, for each of the traits listed. Share your answers with your fiancé or your spouse and at least one good mentor or accountability partner. Then have someone you trust rate you on the following qualities associated with God's kind of tough and tender love:
Love is patient
___I am patient and persevering, not quick to give up on something or someone, especially not on my partner.

Love is never jealous,
___I am not self-pitying or envious of my marriage partner (putting myself in an inferior position).

___I show a consistent courtesy and respect for both myself and my spouse.
or insist on its rights;
___I am not overly concerned about proving I am right, or about trying to get my own way.
It is not easily provoked,
___I am not oversensitive to my partner’s slights or faults, try not to take them too personally.
it keeps no record of wrongs;
___My mental bookkeeping is not weighted on the debit side.
Is never glad when wrong is done,
___I get no satisfaction from another’s failure.
But is always glad when truth prevails;
___I look for, and affirm, any sign of improvement or progress in others.
It bears up under anything,
___My love is powerfully patient.
It exercises faith in everything,
___My love is powerfully confident.
It keeps up hope in everything,
___My love is powerfully positive.
It gives us power to endure in anything.
