Helping to support those seeking counseling, underwriting a special church or community workshop, assisting to build appropriate facilities... you can impact the lives of persons and the life of our community in many ways by contributing a tax-deductible gift to Family Life Resource Center.

Ways you may SUPPORT the work of Family Life Resource Center:

Option #1:  Visit the Family Life Resource Center table at the Alternative Giving Fair at the Valley Mall in Harrisonburg, Virginia on Saturday, November 21.  Purchase an alternative gift from FLRC or any of the other 24 nonprofits participating in the fair.  To learn more about Alternative Gifts Click Here.

Option #2:  Do your Holiday shopping at Ten Thousand Villages in the Dayton Farmer's Market in Dayton, Virginia on Saturday, December 6th.  Present a FLRC coupon when you checkout and Ten Thousand Villages will donate a percentage of your purchase to Family Life Resource Center.  Click here for a COUPON.

Option #3:  Join Friends of the Family, a support organization for FLRC.  The “Friends” offer you the opportunity to financially support FLRC through an annual membership donation.    The Friends also offer the opportunity to support FLRC by volunteering at our center.  As a Friend, you will receive our quarterly newsletter, Resources, delivered to your home.   And most important, our Friends will receive the comforting knowledge they are helping sustain and nurture an organization who’s mission is to help families to grow towards Hope, Health, and Healing.  Annual membership is a minimum gift of $250.00.

Option #5: A gift to support our Scholarship Program.  At FLRC, we never turn away a client due to lack of insurance or ability to pay.  A Scholarship Fund is maintained to provide services to those unable to pay.  Your support of this fund will make it possible to continue this service to our community.  Please make your check payable to Family Life Resource Center - Scholarship Fund.

Option #6:: Surprise us with a gift card from any national store or restaurant chain.  In our area, Target, Wal-Mart, Belk's, Penney's, Office Depot, Staples, Michaels, Applebee's, Chile's, Martins, or Kroger would be wonderful sources for supplies.  A gift card in any amount is always appreciated.

Option #7: Volunteer your time and talents.  If you live in the greater Harrisonburg, Virginia area we would welcome your time and talent.  We have an active  Fundraising Committee and there is always administrative support needed.  If you are interested in volunteering at FLRC please call Ralph Steger, our Director , at 540.434.8450.

Option #8:  Register your Food Lion MVP card in the Shop & Share program to help Family Life Resource Center.  Each time you shop at any Food Lion and use your MVP card, Food Lion will pay a percentage of your purchase to FLRC.  There is no additional cost to you or to FLRC.  You may register your MVP card at the Shop & Share link on the Food Lion website, www.foodlion.com.  OR you can email to Service@flrc.org your name including middle initial, your address, your telephone number, and your 12 digit MVP card number and we will record it for you.  Please read your card carefully, there are twelve digits!  Then shop as usual at Food Lion always using your MVP card, even for small purchases.  Thank you!
