Kate Corder, LPC
Kate has over 10 years experience working in the mental health field as a Licensed Professional Counselor in schools and within the community. She specializes in working with children over four and has extensive training in Circle of Security Informed Therapy for parents and caregivers. Kate has special interests in ADHD, foster care, and play therapy. She also works with adults on infertility, adoption, depression and anxiety.

Sarah Thomas, LPC

Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over eight years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience working in school and community settings as well as experience working with a variety of mental health diagnoses including ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, autism, defiance disorders, and PTSD utilizing a collaborative treatment approach to best meet the clients needs.

Matt Swartzentruber, LPC
Clinical Director

Matt is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in community mental health agencies with a diverse client base and addressing a range of mental health concerns. Matt places priority on each client's individuality and works within an attachment perspective that is psychodynamic in nature. Matt provides individuals, couples, and family therapy options and holds a passion for psychotherapy and the growth process.

Paige Harley, LCSW

Paige is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. She works primarily with teens and adults, with special interests in grief work, depression and anxiety management, issues surrounding suicide loss survivors, and addressing dysfunctional family patterns using a Bowen family systems perspective. Additionally, Paige has experience supporting individuals who struggle with eating disorders and disordered eating. She collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to best meet the complex needs of those who want to improve their relationship with food and body image.

Erin Bush, LPC

Erin has six years of experience working in the community mental health field, and is licensed in Virginia and West Virginia. She has experience working with children, teens and adults above the age of 4, as well as depression, anxiety, trauma. substance use, play therapy, and grief and loss. She believes therapy at its core is based on a trusting teamwork between therapist and client and seeks to help clients find their unique path toward growth.

Amanda Kizer, LPC

Amanda Kizer, M.A., Ed.S., LPC, is known for her kind, approachable manner that helps clients feel comfortable and at ease from the first session. She creates a calm, welcoming space where individuals feel safe to share openly and engage in meaningful therapeutic work. Clients appreciate her ability to combine genuine warmth with thoughtful clinical insight and steady guidance.
With over 20 years of counseling experience, Amanda works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. She takes a personalized approach to care, supporting clients with compassion and clarity as they move toward healing, growth, and lasting change.

Maisie Mathews
Resident in Counseling
Maisie is a compassionate and thoughtful counselor who is known for being a great listener and easy to talk to. She brings a calm, kind, and engaging presence to her work, helping clients feel understood, supported, and at ease from the very first session. Maisie has experience working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, grief, and loss, as well as stress and life transitions. She integrates person-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches tailored to each client’s needs and is passionate about creating a safe, respectful space where clients can speak freely and work toward healing and growth at their own pace.

Amy Mercer, LCSW
​Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that sees children and adults dealing with a variety of concerns including anxiety and depression, grief, loss and attention issues. She has special interest in serving foster/adoptive families and children. She has spent time living overseas and speaks Russian and French. Amy has completed basic EMDR training, which gives her extra tools to help clients who have experienced trauma.

Annalise Livingston, LPC

Annalise is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience working with a diverse group of individuals in both healthcare and community settings. She believes in the importance of meeting individuals where they are. She has passion for young adults that are dealing with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, loss, interpersonal conflict and substance abuse issues.

Receptionist
Elizabeth is often the first person to greet clients at FLRC, and she loves making each visit feel welcoming and stress-free. With her kind and friendly approach, she helps clients feel at ease from the moment they arrive. Whether she’s answering questions, scheduling appointments, or simply offering a warm smile, Elizabeth is dedicated to supporting clients every step of the way.

Jonathan Sutton, M.A.
Executive Director
With over 15 years in mental health, Jonathan Sutton has built his career on serving people in both Clinical and and Managerial roles that strengthen team culture and system efficiency. He holds an M.A. in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Seton Hall University and a B.S. in Psychology from Liberty University.
A lifelong learner and coach, Jonathan creates collaborative teams and streamlines workflows so counselors can focus on clients. Rooted in faith, his personal mission to serve, inspire, and equip people in life connects well with FLRC's mission to be a resource of hope, health, and healing to the community.
